I work in private practice in London N7, Islington,
which has borders with Camden, Haringey and Hackney
and is easily accessible from Central London.
I offer:

    and others in the helping professions.

I am moved and inspired in my work by the experience and witnessing of how a person can heal and grow through close and deep interaction with another. What we can offer each other as human beings is infinite in its breadth and depth.
I have been seeing clients in private practice for 12 years, after several years working in Mental Health Services, and in that time have worked with a people from a range of nationalities and cultures, of different ages, sexualities, religions, and with varying abilities and disabilities. I am conscious of the power invested in the role of counsellor/psychotherapist and am aware of how much damage and distress has been caused in peoples' lives through misuses or abuses of power.
I am attentive therefore to how I hold my power, and respect for the rights and authority of the client is paramount in my work.
Trust and meaning are core concerns of mine.
I am a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice
